  • TwinSpires Horse Racing Podcast: The Thomas Herding Technique

POSTED Sep 19, 2012 By Derek Simon
Ed DeRosa and Derek Simon discuss jockey Eswan Flores’ suspension for alleged cocaine use along with stewards rulings in general. They also talk about Wise Dan’s ascension to no. 1 in the NTRA poll, as well as that steed’s Horse of the Year chances… oh yeah, they chat about feces-flinging monkeys too.

In the U. of Bet Segment, Derek is joined by Thomas Herding Technique founder Kerry Thomas and longtime racing journalist and THT associate Pete Denk to discuss their new report on Brisnet.com.

Lastly, in the Handicapping Segment, Derek analyzes Saturday’s Cotillion Stakes at Parx Racing, which features Questing and My Miss Aurelia.

This sounds like a great episode for horse racing fans, covering everything from major industry news to race analysis and handicapping insights. After listening to racing podcasts like this, I like to unwind with eaglercraft, a browser-based sandbox game inspired by Minecraft, before catching the next big event.
